First I'm sorry for the delay in posting about my trip, things at work have been hectic since I've been back! After returning from perfect 32
ºc weather, to freezing 10
ºc and rain it makes it so much harder to get back to it!
The first day of our trip we arrived in muggy Kuala Lumpur in the late afternoon. We checked into our hotel, the
Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur. It is a fantastic hotel right in the centre of the city. This is the view from our room window:
It is directly accross from the Petrona's Towers and has an underground walkway to the
Suria KLCC shopping centre. A huge 6 floor mall filled with everything from designer brands to the food court. The next morning we were picked up for our day tour to the
Royal Selangor Pewter factory, batik show-room and the Batu Caves.
After a few days of wondering the city and shopping up a storm at China Town and the Central Market we were ready to move on to our main holiday destination - the Maldives!
As soon as you fly into Male you realise the pictures you see online and in books etc are exactly what it looks like in real life! You cannot even imagine how clear the water is and how beautiful everything is until you arrive!
After a warm welcome from a representative from the
W Retreat & Spa we were checking in for our seaplane flight, heading to the seaplane lounge to wait to take off.
The views from the seaplane were amazing.
When we touched down at the resort we knew we had arrived in paradise!
These are just some of the 100's of photos I took whilst away. I hope you enjoy! For more information about the resort visit their websites
