It's only a month away now and I couldn't be more excited! Since I can only take 2 weeks off work at a time we only have time to visit 4 main cities we want to see and will no doubt be back to see more one day! Here is an idea of what we have planned:
Day 1-4 Los Angeles:
Hotel: W Hollywood Hotel - Spectacular Room
Activities: Tijuana Day Tour, LA Getaway Urban Adventure
Day 4-6 San Francisco:
Hotel: Marriot Marquis San Francisco - Guest Room
Activities: Red & White Bay Cruise, Alctraz Island
Day 6-8 Las Vegas:
Hotel: Caesars Palace - Palace Tower Deluxe Room
Hotel: Bellagio Resort - Bellagio Suite
Activites: Grand Canyon Freedom Picnic Tour, 'KÀ' Cirque du Soleil
Day 8-13 New York:
Hotel: The Surrey Hotel - Deluxe Salon
Hotel: Element by Westin Times Square West - Guest Room
Activities: Empire State Building
Opinions?
Everything listed under 'activities' are things we have already booked, obviously there are lots of other things we are planning to do! If you have any suggestions of other things to do, places to eat, great shopping or anything random please let me know!
How exciting!! I'm trying to convince my husband we should take our honeymoon in the states - a road trip around California, but he doesn't think it's exotic enough. BOO!

Oh wow how incredibly exciting!!!! I can't give you any USA tips though as I've never been unfortunatley! Love to go though. You will have to post all about it once you're home - goodluck planning the trip (I'm currently planning a 4 month trip to Europe for next year and I know how tough it can be getting it all right)

owkey this looks amazing! More than amazing actually! The rooms, the view, the city! So nice!!!ç
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great trip!! as an LA expert I wouldn't advise tijuana as a day trip .. there are so many beautiful things to see around LA if you go to mexico u should go to Cabo San Lucas and stay there a few days :) just personal advice ;)

If you are in L.A., maybe the griffith park observatory... it is near griffith park and was where james dean filmed a scene from rebel without a cause. It also has amazing views of L.A. and a gigantic telescope! If you are in Hollywood, you can probably take the subway to universal city walk, little tokyo and olvera st. in downtown L.A, and take it to pasadena where you can walk along colorado blvd (a bunch of nice shops and restaurant!). Oh or the grove! They have the oldest farmers market somewhere in there with a bunch of different types of food and it is near the LACMA (i think i walked from the grove to LACMA one time).
ReplyDeleteHope you have fun and thanks for stopping by my blog!!
