Restaurant Review: Ekhidna Winery McLaren Vale

Last night my partner and I went to a local winery Ekhidna for dinner. A friend recommended we try it and despite it only being about 5 minutes from home we had never heard of it before. It is a small charming restaurant set amongst the vineyards. Below are some photos of the inside.
They make their own wine and beer and every menu item has a matching beverage. Check out the restaurant menu here, the beer menu here and the wine list here.

We started with some rustic ciabatta while enjoying the view.

My partner ordered the black angus with polenta chips, brocolini and roasted tomatoes.

I ordered the market fish of the day: atlantic salmon with beetroot rice and asparagus.

Of course we ordered dessert! We decided to share the flourless chocolate brownie and the lemon sorbet.

I would give it 10 out of 10 for sure! A must if you're in Adelaide!
