Restaurant Review: Celsius Restaurant Adelaide

Celsius is one of my favourite restaurants in the Adelaide CBD. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great, the staff are very helpful and the food is so inventive! In the restaurant there are a few different places to sit, they have a long table for large groups, booths for small groups and little nooks on the side (with your own private curtain) for a more romantic meal.

The staff start you out with some fresh baked bread, with 2 types of butter (regular and parsley):

We couldn't resist the sound of the appetiser, 'salt and vinegar chips'. They are thin, deep fried potato chips with a salt and vinegar foam to dip in. They were delicious!

My partner tried the beef dish - Coorong Angus sirloin, celeriac, mushroom, quinoa, swede

and I went wish the duck dish (no longer on the menu) - Duck fillet, beetroot chips, puffed wheat, seaweed

We were too full to try any desserts but they sound amazing, read their menu here.

Firstly I love travel, I haven't even gone on my upcoming holiday and am already planning the next one! Me and my partner have never had a beach holiday yet, most of the destinations we have been to have been cold and snowy! So next year we are thinking Maldives, at the W Resort & Spa..

I'm drooling right now! Where is your next travel destination?

Travel - I Wanna Go There (IWGT)

I just wanted to share my absolute favourite travel website I Wanna Go There. The motto for the website is 'This Is Travel, Not Tourism' and it is very true. The way the site works is you create a profile for yourself and add all the places you wanna go to and where you have already been. Then when you log in there are recommendations of things to do, places to stay, places to eat and drink and to shop, for where you live and where you wanna go.  You can also create your own recommendations for places you have been and share them with the world. You can take a look at my profile here.

Restaurant Review: Hortas Port Noarlunga

On Sunday we were looking for somewhere new to have lunch, we heard that an old run-down restaurant right on the Port Noarlunga beach had changed owners and had been renovated. We thought 'why not' and went to give it a try - and we're so glad we did!

The old restaurant was so closed-in and dark, with the new decor it is light, airy and the views are amazing!

It was a lazy Sunday so I ordered a Bloody Mary, check out the view from our table!

Being seaside I thought it would be fitting to get the Fish and Chips, my partner ordered the Mediterranean Steak Sandwich.

I can't wait to go back during Summer and sit out on the balcony! Check out their menu here.
